The birth of KIDSology, Inc:

Today, KIDSology, Inc is proud to provide Mental Health Counseling, ABA, Speech and Occupational Therapy, Music Therapy, Equine Therapy, Special Education Tutoring, Psychological and Academic Testing, Workshops, Social Skills Training, and Specialized Year-Round Programs.  KIDSology, Inc. is a bilingual center and provides services to children and families affected with ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, PDD NOS, Asperger’s Syndrome,  Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Divorce, Sexuality concerns, and Oppositional behaviors.

Jessie’s Inspiration:

At the age of 5 1/2, Jessie became selectively mute after discovering her 4-month-old brother deceased in his crib (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). As a result of this terrible tragedy Jessie was taken to a mental health counselor, who with time, got her to speak again and encouraged self expression through art therapy. Visiting the therapist allowed Jessie to understand and accept her brother’s death and she soon regained her ability for verbal expression. Christopher, although deceased, continues to live in Jessie’s work and in the help she provides the children and families at KIDSology, Inc.  Jessie says, “Its amazing how one little person can have such a big impact on the choices we make.” Christopher, together with our Lord, are the pillar and light that keep Jessie and KIDSology.
